Our Mission

Philippians 2:1-2 - United in the Spirit If therefore there is any encouragement in Christ, if there is any consolation of love, if there is any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose. That is Koinonia Christian Fellowship (KCF)

On April 18, 2013, a small group of believers of 3 began meeting for Bible Study, and Fellowship first online and from there in a small one bedroom apartment on the NorthEast of El Paso, Texas.

Our church grew interested in establishing a non-denominational fellowship that emphasized regular systematic Bible teaching and a plurality of spiritual leadership. Recognizing that the Bible is the very Word of the living God to man, and understanding the priority of knowing and obeying its truths. I Pastor Jose Luciano along with my wife Pastor Alicia Luciano are deeply committed to studying and teaching Scripture with diligence and authority. Therefore, at the heart of the Fellowship here at (KCF) is the continuous imparting of biblical truth to the people of God in order that they may know God and serve Him in worship and ministry in Spirit and in Truth. To provide a Christ centered environment where both English and Spanish speaking persons can be saved, healed, and developed through the word of God to reach their maximum potential in all areas of life, with emphasis in discipleship and church growth. (Matthew 28:18-20; Col. 1:28)

The Beginning

We believe:

That the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired

Word of God and the infallible, authority of faith and conduct

(2 Tim. 3:15-17; I Pet. 1:21).

That within the nature of the one true God there are three eternal

persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Deut 6;4, John 1:1-14,

Acts 5:4,5).

That all men are lost, and that salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, by the cleansing of sin and renewing of the Holy Spirit, being justified by grace through faith

(John 3:3; Rom. 10:13-15, Eph. 2:8,9; Titus 3:5-7).

That baptism in water is commanded in Scripture, and that all who repent and believe on Christ as Lord and Savior are to be baptized (Matt. 28:19;

Acts 10:47, 48; Rom. 6:4).

That the Lord's Supper should be observed regularly (1 Cor. 11:24, 25).

That the believer may receive the promise of the Father by allowing Jesus to baptize him in the Holy Spirit (Matt. 3:11; Luke 24:49; Acts 2:4).

That the gifts, ministries, miracles, and other manifestations and operations of the Holy Spirit as described in Scriptures are still valid for the church today and are to be taught, expected and practiced today as the Spirit wills (1 Cor. 12 & 14; Eph. 4:11).

That Jesus will return bodily to the earth, as He promised, to provide an eternal inheritance to believers and judgment to unbelievers

(2 Thess. 1:7-10; Acts 1:11).

Pastor Jose Luciano Bio.

Pastor Jose Luciano was born in Aguadilla Puerto Rico on December 2nd of 1965 and raised most of his life in Bronx, New York. He left his life in New York to move to El Paso on March 2012 to court his now wife Alicia Luciano . He and his wife are blessed to have three adult children,11 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. He is the second of 6 children born to Christian parents German and Sara Luciano. Although he was born into a Christian family, in his teen years he was a rebellious and troublesome child which led his parents to place him for counseling in a live-in center. During that time, he experienced a personal encounter with The Lord and was led by the Holy Spirit into repentance and called into ministry. It was then that his spiritual growth began, a growth that has not stopped even until now. In his early 30's, he was ordained as an Evangelist and grew to become the Spiritual Speaker, and Leader that he is now. Pastor Joe, as most people call him, has traveled to preach the Word of God in Puerto Rico, New York, Texas and Mexico where he also conducted revival services. His heart is to strengthen and equip ministers and congregations to have a strong impact in the world for Christ. Pastor Jose and his wife are now ordained Pastors of Koinonia Christian Fellowship which is a small church located at 5023 Wren Ave. in the Northeast of El Paso. Together they work to teach, feed and guide the lost and hungry souls into the Kingdome of God.
